Author Biography

Matt O'Connor, University of Sheffield

Matt O’Connor is an Academic Development Adviser at the University of Sheffield. He was previously a secondary school teacher for 20 years. A key part of his current role is supporting teaching staff to evaluate and develop their practice by engaging in scholarship work. His teaching and research interests include inclusivity and neurodiversity, ethical uses of AI in teaching and learning, building staff and student agency, and making educational scholarship accessible to all.
