Author Biography

Julie Taylor, Manchester Metropolitan University

Julie Taylor is an Academic and Study Skills Tutor at Manchester Metropolitan University, with over 20 years’ experience of working in Learning Development. She holds a master’s degree and specialises in Humanities and Business subjects. A qualified Careers Practitioner, People Development Coach, and YMCA Exercise to Music Teacher, Julie is interested in people development in both study- and work-related contexts, winning an award in this area in 2015. Her current research interests include physical movement in the classroom and successful transitions into university life.
