Author Biographies

Kim Pedersen, University of Brighton

Kim Pedersen is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Skills Tutor at the University of Brighton, where she leads on embedding academic literacies and skills in the curriculum. She works mostly in the School of Art and Media and has a growing interest in the application of Gen AI within learning development and teaching. In addition, Kim’s research interests include academic literacies, communities of practice, collaborative working, inclusion, and peer learning.

Anne-Marie Langford, University of Northampton

Anne-Marie Langford is a Learning Development Tutor at the University of Northampton.  She came to learning development from heritage education and teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is the founder and lead organiser of the ALDinHE’s community of practice for Learning Developers working in Health and Social Care (LD Health CoP). Anne-Marie’s research interests are diverse, encompassing critical thinking, digital learning, student co-creation, access, and inclusion.
